An excerpt from the Book Apostolic Strategies for Kingdom Reformation Series 1: Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. (Isaiah 28:17).
The Hebrew word for line is qav , which means a string or measuring cord. The word of God is the righteous measuring line and yardstick for interpreting the scriptures and revealed revelations, and not the popular human opinions and common beliefs of the people. If it is not the word, then it is not of God no matter what traditions says!
While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will have the world judged in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30-31 NRSV).
God has overlooked the times when we didn’t know any better and walked in the ignorance of His word, but were carried through by His grace, but now we are required to repent (to think differently or afterwards, i.e. to reconsider). We are to turn to the revealed truth of His word and change the way we think and begin to act accurately and precisely in line with His word.
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: (Isaiah 28:9-10).
In your hands are valuable truths that have taken years to researched and tried in line with the word. I challenge you to hold fast to the truth and begin your transition into the Kingdom age of God today. There are few thoughts that have been penned down to accurately define established truth to bring a shift from our spiritual myth and institutional way of building to an apostolic way. We should not build the institutional way, but the apostolic way {Psalms 127:1-2}.
The Church must be structured apostolically and not institutionally. We need to think apostolically and build apostolically in other to bring a reformation for the Kingdom of God, first in the Church and then into all nations.
Ignorance and lack of translucent revelation of the Word and purposes of God have caused many to go too far from true biblical patterns, truths and teachings, and we have sought to establish our own common institutional ways and traditional ecclesiastical order and opinions. We have tried to turn the bountiful table of the Lord into a cheap buffet from which we only choose what we like and reject what we don t like as long as it appeals to our common understanding and doesn’t challenge our flesh nature as we have been taught over the years. This has affected the corporate Body of Christ and hinders the flow of revelations for the establishment of the purposes of God in the Church and in the earth and the advancement of His Kingdom and the Church.
There has been much discourse and treatise over the years on the subject and issue of the Kingdom of God, the five-fold ministry gifts and the teachings of eschatology and past reformation as well as the present move of God, but my intent and objective in this inscription is to bring together some of the thoughts, inspirations and understanding that I have received over the years as I searched the scriptures and labour in different places around the world with leaders and the Body of Christ. Certainly, this is not an absolute and final word of doctrine, for new heights and revelations are continual with the declaration to the messengers of the Kingdom because we only know in part and speak in part . As previously stated, my desire and trust is that this writing will bring more clarity and be of benefit to all, as we pursue the purpose of God in the earth and comprehend God s ultimate goal and His Will for our lives as individuals and corporately as the Body of Christ (The Church).
I do respect personal beliefs and eschatological theories, and by means of this through the grace of God we have been brought thus far; but my desire is to present something new and fresh as we solicitously consider the word together in this thesis. To some of us, the content may not be new. However, it is expedient that we lay aside for a moment some of our traditional beliefs and follow as a pupil of the Kingdom of God with an open mind to receive, so we can apply changes where necessary and to sharpen and align our focus towards the pattern and purposes of God. When I say lay aside for a moment some of our traditional beliefs, it is for the purpose of we looking into the word of God with an open heart and carefully surveying and scrutinizing our foundational beliefs to accurately align ourselves to His word and to His character.
Recently across the nations there have been strange phenomenon, manifestations and seducing doctrines that have caused many, even the leadership of the Church to recoil against the truth because of false and unbalanced teachings. In this book, I have considered some important truths such as The Kingdom of God and the Earth, The Apostolic Reformation, Networking, The Family of God (Father & Son Relationship), the 3 Day Church, The Man Child, The Apostles Doctrine, Apostolic Character & Impartation, The Rapture Theory, The City Church etc. My heart yearns for the truth and the revelation of the word to come forth, not to establish my own doctrine, but on the contrary the doctrine of Jesus Christ, who is the Saviour of all men.
The theme for this book does not mean that I am promoting only the apostles ministry, although there is much emphasis on the apostles and the apostolic mandate. My focus is towards the five-fold ministry gifts of Ephesians 4:11 Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers in helping the Church to understand our true purpose and the goal of God for the Church and the earth.
